With a team of over 70 staff (and growing) Workforce XS Geelong are proudly working with Local Mix in seeking to appoint an experienced Transport Operations Manager to join the team.

With a fleet of over 50 vehicles the Transport Operations Manager will oversee this division and focus on a number of key performance areas including;

    • Efficiency – Ensuring work is completed on time per agreed expectations
    • Customer service – Delivering quality services to build on existing and new relationships while coordinating staff to deliver the same
    • Profitability – Maintain a focus towards financial objectives such as labour costs and DIFOT KPI's
    • Staff training and retention – Contribute to development of staff capabilities and skills along with creating an environment that supports and nurtures longevity
    • Compliance – Maintain a commitment to working within industry regulations whilst focussing on providing a safe and rewarding work environment

To be considered for this role we are looking to speak with individuals who have the following skills, experience and attributes;

  • Strong scheduling experience with an ability to forward think
  • Sound understanding of road transport regulations and compliance requirements
  • Previous experience with successfully leading teams, developing individuals and improving staff retention rates
  • An ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Effective administrative skills with a commitment to streamlining processes where possible
  • Focus towards positive workplace culture
